WEEKLY PROGRESS UPDATE

 WEEK 1

Public Holiday

WEEK 2 & 3

On the second and third weeks, we started to make the fabric manipulation sampling and started to do our research and mind map.

I'm using the sewing method to stitch the pull tabs to the net and create a pattern.

This pattern was made by stitching each of the pull tabs all way down but making it dispersed at the bottom. The picture above is the first sampling.

WEEK 4

On the 4th week, we started to place the fabric manipulations on the dummy and continue to make sampling.

Second Sampling (using pull tabs and paper clip)
For this sampling, I'm sewing the pull tabs and hanging the paper clips onto each of the pull tabs.

WEEK 5

In the 5th week, we continue to make 10 designs using the samplings. These are 5 designs that I've made so far.

On this week, we also do our concept inspiration and moodboard, which I input in the Task 1 post in this e-blog. I also do my e-portfolio on this week.

WEEK 9

On this week, we finished our design from the initial idea development. I chose these 2 looks and start to make the technical drawings.
